RESOLUTION APPROVING CONTRACT WITH TEXAS
ELECTRIC SERVICE COMPANY FOR THE RELOCATION
OF DISTRIBUTION FACILITIES ON THE HOLLIDAY
CREEK CHANNEL BETWEEN EASTSIDE DRIVE AND
SOUTHWEST PARKWAY
WHEREAS, facilities owned by the Texas Electric Service
Company must be relocated to allow for the construction of the
Holliday Creek /Lake Wichita Project;
WHEREAS, two of these distribution facilities are located on
the public right -of -way and will be relocated at the cost of the
Texas Electric Service Company; and,
WHEREAS, four of the locations are on easements held by the
Texas Electric Service Company and the relocation required is
eligible for reimbursement from the City of Wichita Falls.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
A contract for relocation of the facilities dated August 18,
1988 is approved with a not to exceed figure of $23,268.00.
