RESOLUTION TO APPROVE CONTRACT WITH
ENGINEERING CONSULTING FIRM FOR 1989 BUDGET
UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City annually conducts a project to
rehabilitate deteriorated utility lines and to extend other
utility lines;
WHEREAS, the 1988 -89 budget includes provision for this
annual project;
WHEREAS, the City desires to engage the engineering firm of
Corlett, Probst & Boyd, Inc. for the engineering services related
to this project; and,
WHEREAS, the Council has examined a proposed contract for
this purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The proposed contract with the engineering consulting firm
of Corlett, Probst & Boyd, Inc. for the 1989 Budget Utility
Improvements Project is hereby approved with an engineering fee
not to exceed $60,000.00. The City Manager is authorized to
execute the contract.
