RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT THE LANDFILL SCALE HOUSE
PROJECT AND AUTHORIZE FINAL PAYMENT TO THE
CONTRACTOR
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, entered into a
contract with Tri -W Enterprises, Inc. of Stephenville, Texas, for
the construction of the Landfill Scale House for a total cost of
$24,591.00; and,
WHEREAS, the actual work was completed at a total cost of
$24,966.21 of which $375.21 represents Change Order No. 1; and,
WHEREAS, $22,469.59 has been previously paid to the
contractor, leaving an amount due of $2,496.62; and,
WHEREAS, the City staff has inspected the work and found it
to be acceptable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The Landfill Scale House Project is hereby accepted and the
City Manager is authorized to make a final payment to the
contractor.
