RESOLUTION TO APPROVE CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 TO
HOLLIDAY CREEK UTILITY RELOCATIONS PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls is relocating certain
utility lines in anticipation of a flood control project on
Holliday Creek by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers;
WHEREAS, the City previously entered a contract with Rhode
Pipe Company for a portion of these relocations;
WHEREAS, certain changes are required to facilitate
modification of a highway bridge and to facilitate the
redirection of sewage flow in future years; and,
WHEREAS, the Council has considered a proposed Change Order
No. 1 to the contract with Rhode Pipe Company.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Change Order No. 1 to the Holliday Creek Utility Relocations
Project contract with Rhode Pipe Company is approved in the
amount of $7,846.25, increasing the original contract price of
$180,990.25 to a new contract price of $188,836.50. The City
Manager is authorized to execute Change Order No. 1.
