RESOLUTION TO APPROVE ENGINEERING CONTRACT
FOR SOUTHWEST DRAINAGE BASIN SANITARY SEWER
TRUNK MAIN PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has determined through an
engineering analysis that certain improvements are required in
the sanitary sewer collection system of the southwest drainage
basin;
WHEREAS, the first phase of the improvement project will
handle all of the existing flow plus the flow of properties that
have been platted but not yet developed;
WHEREAS, the City desires to accomplish the engineering
design and construction of the sanitary sewer trunk main;
WHEREAS, the firm of Biggs & Mathews, Incorporated conducted
the original engineering analysis and are acceptable to the City
for the continued work of designing the project; and,
WHEREAS, the Council has examined a proposed contract with
Biggs & Mathews, Incorporated for this purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The proposed contract is hereby approved in the maximum
amount of $40,000.00 for the engineering base fee and an
estimated amount of $15,000.00 for on -site inspection and
administration services.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS THE 2ND DAY OF AUGUST, 1988.
