RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR THE
RECONSTRUCTION OF MIDWESTERN PARKWAY FROM
ARMORY ROAD TO HIGHWAY 281
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids
for the reconstruction of Midwestern Parkway from Armory Road to
Highway 281;
WHEREAS, six bids were received, and it is found that the
bid of Duke Concrete Construction Company of Wichita Falls,
Texas, in the amount of $91,413.28 is the lowest responsible bid.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Said bid of Duke Concrete Construction Company in the amount
of $91,413.28 is hereby accepted, and the City Manager is
authorized to execute a contract with Duke Construction Company
for the reconstruction of Midwestern Parkway from Armory Road to
Highway 281.
