RESOLUTION APPROVING A LEASE AGREEMENT WITH
MR. JAMES A. THOMAS FOR LEASE OF PREMISES AT
WICHITA FALLS MUNICIPAL AIRPORT.
WHEREAS, Mr. James A. Thomas, of 4540 Barnett Road, Wichita
Falls, has requested to lease the lounge area in the terminal
building at Municipal Airport, in which he intends to sell snacks
as well as beer and wine.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
A lease of the lounge area in the terminal building at
Municipal Airport to Mr. James A. Thomas is hereby approved.
Such lease shall be prepared by the City Attorney's office. It
shall have a term of one year, shall provide that the City shall
receive eight (8%) percent of the gross revenues from the
operation, and shall contain such other terms as the City Manager
and City Attorney deem appropriate. The City Manager is
authorized to execute the lease agreement for the City of Wichita
Falls.
