RESOLUTION APPROVING SECOND AMENDMENT
TO CONTRACT FOR AMBULANCE SERVICE TO
WICHITA COUNTY AND THE CITIES OF
WICHITA FALLS, BURKBURNETT AND IOWA
PARK, TEXAS.
WHEREAS, the Cities of Burkburnett, Iowa Park and
Wichita Falls and Wichita County have entered into a contract
dated July 24, 1987, with Life Line Emergency Medical Services,
Inc. for ambulance service to such entities; and,
WHEREAS, the contract provided that it may be extended by
mutual agreement of both parties; and
WHEREAS, the parties desire to amend such contract for a
one -year extension.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
That certain Second Amendment to Contract for Ambulance
Service to Wichita County and the Cities of Wichita Falls,
Burkburnett and Iowa Park, Texas, a copy of which is attached
hereto, is hereby approved, and the City Manager is authorized to
execute the same for the City of Wichita Falls.
