RESOLUTION TO APPROVE CONTRACT WITH
ENGINEERING FIRM FOR RENOVATION OF MOTOR AND
PUMP CONTROL SYSTEM ON SANITARY SEWER
INTERMEDIATE LIFT STATION
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has a programmable logic
controller at the Lake Arrowhead Lift Station, said controller no
longer in use and available for use elsewhere in the water and
wastewater system;
WHEREAS, the motor and pump controls for the intermediate
lift station at the River Road Wastewater Treatment Plant must be
replaced and updated; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to engage the engineering firm of
EMD, Incorporated for all of the engineering work to move the
controller and integrate it into the control system of the lift
station.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The proposed contract with EMD, Incorporated for the
purposes stated is hereby approved in the amount of $15,876.00
and the City Manager is authorized to execute the contract.
