RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT THE WICHITA FALLS ACTIVITIES
CENTER RENOVATION PROJECT AND AUTHORIZE FINAL PAY-
MENT TO THE CONTRACTOR
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered a unit price
contract with Taylor and Company with the estimated total cost of
$57,203.78; and,
WHEREAS, the actual work was completed at a total cost
of $57,203.78 of which $51,483.40 has been previously paid to the
contractor, leaving an amount due of $5,720.38; and,
WHEREAS, the City staff has inspected the work and found
it to be acceptable,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The Wichita Falls Activities Center Renovation Project is
hereby accepted and the City Manager is authorized to make a final
payment to the contractor.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS THE 21st DAY OF JUNE, 1988.
