RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT PROJECT FOR IMPROVEMENTS TO SEWER
LIFT STATION NO. 25 AND AUTHORIZE CITY MANAGER TO MAKE
A FINAL PAYMENT TO THE CONTRACTOR
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has a contract with Rhode
Pipe Company for certain improvements on Sewer Lift Station No. 25;
WHEREAS, the contractor has completed the project and the City
staff has inspected the work and found it acceptable; and,
WHEREAS, the original contract was for $53,000.00 and previous
payments of $51,940.00 have been made, leaving an amount due to the
contractor of $1,060.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The project to upgrade and improve Sewer Lift Station No. 25 is
hereby accepted and the City Manager is authorized to make a final
payment to the contractor of $1,060.00.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS THE 21ST DAY OF JUNE, 1988.
