RESOLUTION APPROVING RELOCATION OF GAS MAINS TO FACILITATE
THE HOLLIDAY CREEK PHASE II CONSTRUCTION
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls desires to cooperate with the Corps
of Engineers for the construction of the Holliday Creek flood control project;
and,
WHERAS, Public Law 99 -662 requires the City to relocate all utilities
in preparation for the Holliday Creek construction; and,
WHEREAS, the Lone Star Gas Company has offered to move or relocate three
utility crossings in Phase II of Holliday Creek in an amount not to exceed
$152,539.00.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The Lone Star Gas Company is authorized to proceed with the relocation
of three crossings across Holliday Creek located in the Phase II construction
at an amount not to exceed $152,539.00. It is further agreed that the gas
company will bill the City for their actual construction costs with the
above amount to be a not to exceed figure.
