RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
ACCEPT EXERCISE OF OPTION BY COMMUNITY
ACTION CORPORATION TO RENEW LEASE AT 602
BROAD FOR FIRST RENEWAL PERIOD.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls and Community Action
Corporation of Wichita Falls and the North Texas Area entered
into a lease agreement on December 1, 1986, for a period of
twelve (12) months; and,
WHEREAS, said lease provides for four renewal periods of
twelve (12) months each for the consideration stated therein;
and,
WHEREAS, the date stated for exercise of the option passed
unnoticed by both parties, both of which desire to continue to
the contractual relationship.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is hereby authorized to accept the exercise
of option by Community Action Corporation to renew its lease
agreement of the property at 602 Broad for the First Renewal
Period for a term beginning December 1, 1987, and ending November
30, 1988, for the consideration stated therein.
