RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT PHASE "C" - ELECTRICAL
EXTERIOR UTILITIES, EXTERIOR SPORTS LIGHTING AND
PARKING AREA LIGHTING AT THE SOFTBALL COMPLEX AND
AUTHORIZE FINAL PAYMENT TO THE CONTRACTOR
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered into a contract
with Jack Peirce Electric Company for the construction of Phase
"C" - Exterior Utilities, Exterior Sports Lighting and Parking
Area Lighting at the Softball Complex; and,
WHEREAS, the work has been completed for a cost of
$142,329.00 of which $126,813.60 has already been paid to the
contractor, leaving an amount due of $15,515.40; and,
WHEREAS, the City staff has inspected the work and found it
to be acceptable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The Phase "C" - Exterior Utilities, Exterior Sports Lighting
and Parking Area Lighting Project is hereby accepted and the City
Manager is authorized to make final payment to the contractor in
the amount of $15,515.40.
