RESOLUTION DESIGNATING WICHITA FALLS
COMMUNITY MENTAL HEALTH MENTAL
RETARDATION CENTER AS CONTRACTING
AGENT FOR THE SUBSTANCE ABUSE TRIAGE
PROJECT
WHEREAS, the Treatment Task Force established as part of the
Mayor's War on Drugs identified a detoxification center as the
greatest need in the treatment area; and
WHEREAS, the Treatment Task Force has worked with the Texas
Commission on Alcohol and Drug Abuse to develop a Triage Project,
which would include a detoxification center and would link this
service with evaluation and referral services of other agencies.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The Wichita Falls Community Mental Health Mental Re+-ardation
Center is designated as contracting agent for the Subs ce Abuse
