RESOLUTION ACCEPTING CONSTRUCTION AND AUTHORIZING
FINAL PAYMENT FOR THE PHASE G - HANDRAILING
CONTRACT AT THE CITY SOFTBALL COMPLEX
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered into a contract
dated September 21, 1987, for the construction of the Phase G -
Handrailing at the City Softball Complex; and,
WHEREAS, said project has been completed in accordance with
the plans and specifications; and,
WHEREAS, said contract was a lump sum contract for a total
cost of $11,495.00; however, $9,770.75 has previously been paid
to the contractor, leaving a balance due of $1,724.25; and,
WHEREAS, this project was inspected and completed on April
13, 1988.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The construction of said project is accepted by the City of
Wichita Falls, and the City Manager is authorized and dirpc/ted t
pay the contractor the amount as set out
