RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT PROJECT TO RELOCATE UTILITY
LINES AT EASTSIDE DRIVE AND HOLLIDAY CREEK AND
AUTHORIZE CITY MANAGER TO MAKE FINAL PAYMENT
WHEREAS, the City has a contract with Rhode Pipe Company for
the relocation of certain utility lines across Holliday Creek and
the construction of a sanitary sewer lift station;
WHEREAS, the contract is in the amount of $65,974.25 and the
City has previously paid the contractor an amount of $30,161.92,
leaving an amount due of $35,812.33; and,
WHEREAS, the work has been completed and has been inspected
and found acceptable by the staff.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The project to relocate utility lines crossing Holliday
Creek at Eastside Drive is hereby accepted as complete and the
City Manager is authorized to make a final payment of $35,812.33
to the contractor.
