RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT PHASE H - PLAYERS BENCHES
AND BLEACHER SEATING AT THE SOFTBALL COMPLEX AND
AUTHORIZE FINAL PAYMENT TO THE CONTRACTOR
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered into a contract
with Sturdisteel Company for the construction of Phase H -
Players Benches and Bleacher Seating at the Softball Complex;
and,
WHEREAS, the work has been completed for a cost of
$13,947.00 of which $9,719.00 has already been paid to the
contractor, leaving an amount due of $4,228.00; and,
WHEREAS, the City staff has inspected the work and found it
to be acceptable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The Phase H - Players Benches and Bleacher Seating Project
is hereby accepted and the City Manager is authorized to make
final payment to the contractor in the amou t of $4,22 .0 .
