RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT PHASE A - CHAIN LINK FENCES
AND BACKSTOPS AT THE SOFTBALL COMPLEX AND
AUTHORIZE FINAL PAYMENT TO THE CONTRACTOR
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered into a contract
with Frontier Fence Company for the construction of Phase A -
Chain Link Fences and Backstops at the Softball Complex; and,
WHEREAS, the work has been completed for a cost of
$64,180.00, of which $62,680.01 has already been paid to the
contractor, leaving an amount due of $1,499.99; and,
WHEREAS, the City staff has inspected the work and found it
to be acceptable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The Phase A - Chain Link Fences and Backstops Project is
hereby accepted and the City Manager is authorized to make final
payment to the contractor in the amount of $1,499.99. I
