RESOLUTION TO APPROVE CHANGE ORDER NO. 2
TO THE CYPRESS WATER TREATMENT PLANT 1987
RENOVATION PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City has a contract with BRB Contractors,
Incorporated for the Cypress Water Treatment Plant 1987
Renovation Project at a contract cost of $455,001.00, including
Change Order #1;
WHEREAS, the work has begun and has revealed several other
deficiencies that need to be added to the contract in order to
fully renovate the 1963 treatment plant; and,
WHEREAS, the Council has examined the requirement for each
of the items of work.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Change Order No. 2 in the amount of $31,194.00 is hereby
approved, increasing the contract amount for the Cypress Water
Treatment Plant 1987 Renovation Project to $486,195.00. The City
Manager is authorized to execute the change order.
