RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT PROJECT TO RENOVATE 1963 SLUDGE
BEDS AT RIVER ROAD WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT AND
AUTHORIZE CITY MANAGER TO MAKE FINAL PAYMENT
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has a contract with Scales Concrete
Construction Company, Incorporated for the renovation of the 1963 sludge
drying beds at the River Road Wastewater Treatment Plant, said contract in
the amount of $51,960.00;
WHEREAS, the work has been completed and has been inspected and found
acceptable by the staff; and,
WHEREAS, the City has previously paid the contractor $42,457.00, leaving
an amount due of $9,503.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The project to renovate the 1963 sludge drying beds at the River Road
Wastewater Treatment Plant is hereby accepted and the City Manager is
authorized to make a final payment to Scales Concrete Construction,
Incorporated in the amount of $9,503.00.
