RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT PHASE D CONCRETE WORK AT THE
SOFTBALL COMPLEX AND AUTHORIZE FINAL PAYMENT TO
THE CONTRACTOR
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered into a contract
with Arthur /Moss Construction Company, Incorporated for the
construction of Phase D Concrete Work at the Softball Complex;
and,
WHEREAS, the work has been completed for a total cost of
$123,130.00 of which $110,261.00 has previously been paid to the
contractor, leaving an amount due of $12,869.00; and,
WHEREAS, the City staff has inspected the work and found it
to be acceptable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The Phase D Concrete Work is hereby accepted and the City
Manager is authorized to make final payment to the contractor in
the amount of $12,869.00.
