RESOLUTION APPROVING CONSTRUCTION AND MAINTENANCE
AGREEMENT FOR RIDGEWAY DRIVE BRIDGE REPLACEMENT
UNDER THE FEDERAL AID BRIDGE REPLACEMENT AND
REHABILITATION PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls desires to enter into a
contract with the State Department of Highways and Public
Transportation for replacement of a bridge on Ridgeway Drive over
the Water District No. 2 irrigation canal; and,
WHEREAS, the City is required to pay for 20% of the cost of
this structure with the remainder being borne by the State
Department of Highways and Public Transportation; and,
WHEREAS, the State Department of Hiqhways and Public
Transportation will perform all design work and will award the
contract and perform construction supervision under the terms of
this contract.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The contract with the State Department of Highways and
Public Transportation for the replacement of the bridge on
Ridgeway Drive is hereby approved, and the Mayor is authoriz d to
