RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT PROJECT FOR PAINTING AT
JASPER STREET WATER TREATMENT PLANT AND 402
EAST SCOTT, AND AUTHORIZE CITY MANAGER TO
MAKE FINAL PAYMENT
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has a contract with Merit
Engineering and Construction, Inc. for painting at the Jasper
Street Water Treatment Plant and 402 East Scott;
WHEREAS, the work has been completed and the City staff has
inspected the work and found it to be acceptable; and,
WHEREAS, the original contract with Change Order 1 is for an
amount of $65,660.00, of which $59,094.00 has been paid, leaving
an amount due to the contractor of $6,566.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The project for painting at the Jasper Street Water
Treatment Plant and 402 East Scott is hereby accepted and the
City Manager is authorized to make a final payment ok $6,566.00
to the contractor.
