RESOLUTION TO APPROVE CHANGE ORDER 1 FOR
CYPRESS STREET WATER TREATMENT PLANT 1987
RENOVATION PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has a contract with BRB Contractors,
Inc. for the 1987 Renovation Project at the Cypress Street Water Treatment Plant;
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls desires to delete bid item Number 20,
a plant irrigation system at a cost of $67,000.00; and,
WHEREAS, the deletion of this item will reduce the net contract price
from $522,001.00 to $455,001.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Change Order 1 for the 1987 Renovation Project at the Cypress Street
Water Treatment Plant is hereby approved to eliminate the plant irrigation system
from the contract. The contract price is reduced by $67,000.00 from $522,001.00
to $455,001.00. The City Manager is authorized to
