RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT 1987 BUDGET UTILITY
IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT - WATER AND
AUTHORIZE FINAL PAYMENT TO THE CONTRACTOR
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has a contract with Rhode
Pipe Company for certain improvements on the utility system;
WHEREAS, the contract amount is $116,359.20;
WHEREAS, the work is complete at a total cost of
$116,269.20, and the City has previously paid the contractor
$104,642.28, leaving an amount due of $11,626.92; and,
WHEREAS, the City staff has inspected the work and found it
to be acceptable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The 1987 Budget Utilities Improvement Project - Water is
hereby accepted, and the City Manager is authorized to make a
final payment to Rhode Pipe Company in the amount of $1 ,626.92.
