RESOLUTION TO APPROVE CHANGE ORDER 1 AND
ACCEPT THE PROJECT FOR REPLACEMENT OF
LIFT STATION #2 AND #5
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has a contract with Rhode
Pipe Company to install two sewer lift stations and a force main
with an original contract amount of $210,949.00;
WHEREAS, Change Order #1 in the amount of $1,730.00
increases the original contract amount to $212,679.00;
WHEREAS, the City has previously paid the contractor
$198,216.55, leaving an amount due of $14,462.45; and,
WHEREAS, the City staff has inspected the work for the
project and found it to be acceptable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Change Order 1 in the amount of $1,730.00 is hereby
approved, increasing the original amount of the contract with
Rhode Pipe Company to $212,679.00. The project is accepted as
complete and the City Manager is authorized to make a final
payment to the contractor in the am t of $14,462.45
