RESOLUTION TO APPROVE ENGINEERING CONTRACT FOR
CONSTRUCTION OF CYPRESS 5MG GROUND STORAGE WATER
TANK
WHEREAS, the City will construct a 5MG ground storage water tank at
the Cypress Street Water Treatment Plant;
WHEREAS, the engineering firm of Biggs & Mathews, Inc. proposes
to provide the necessary engineering services for the design and construction
of the tank; and,

WHEREAS, the Council has examined a proposed contract for the
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The proposed contract with the firm of Biggs & Mathews, Inc. for
providing the necessary engineering services to design and construct a 5MG
water tank at the Cypress Street Water Treatment Plant is hereby approved.
The maximum fee for the basic services provided in the contract is $36,000.00.
The maximum fee for the inspection and contract administration services is $24,000.00.
The fees for other additional services that may be necessary are as provided in
Appendix A of the contract. The City Manager is authorized to execute the Contract.
