Ordinance making an appropriation to the Special Revenue Fund for
the Women, Infants and Children Grant in the amount of $28,756
received from the Department of State Health Services and
authorizing the City Manager to execute a contract accepting same
WHEREAS, the Health District and the Department of State Health Services
desire to enter into a contract for continued public health services; and
WHEREAS, approval of these funds could not have been anticipated prior to the
adoption of the 2013 - 2014 budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
There is hereby appropriated in the Special Revenue Fund $28,756 for the
Women, Infants and Children Services grant, and the City Manager is authorized to
enter into a contract with the Department of State Health Services for the Wichita Falls-
Wichita County Health District.
