RESOLUTION TO APPROVE CONTRACT WITH
ENGINEERING CONSULTING FIRM FOR IMPROVEMENTS
TO THE LAKE KICKAPOO DAM EMBANKMENT
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls proposes to make certain
improvements to the dam embankment at Lake Kickapoo to advance
the safety and longevity of the embankment;
WHEREAS, the City desires to engage the engineering firm of
Biggs and Mathews to perform the engineering services for the
construction of the improvements; and,
WHEREAS,the Council has examined a proposed contract
between the City and Biggs and Mathews for the purposes stated.
NOW BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The proposed contract between the City of Wichita Falls and
the engineering firm of Biggs and Mathews for engineering
services related to improvements to the Lake Kickapoo Dam
Embankment is hereby approved with a maximum fee of $128, 675. 00
for the engineering services. The City Manager is authorized to
execute the contract.
