RESOLUTION APPROVING AGREEMENT WITH THE LONE
STAR GAS COMPANY FOR RELOCATION OF UTILITIES
FOR PHASE II OF THE HOLLIDAY CREEK FLOOD
CONTROL PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls desires to cooperate with
the Corps of Engineers for the construction of the Holliday Creek
Flood Control Project; and,
WHEREAS, Public Law 99-662 requires the City to relocate all
utilities in preparation for the Holliday Creek construction;
and,
WHEREAS, the Lone Star Gas Company has offered to relocate
two utility crossings for the Phase II Holliday Creek Project in
an amount not to excess $25,910. 00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The Lone Star Gas Company is authorized to proceed with the
relocation of two crossings across Holliday Creek located in the
Phase II construction zone in an amount not to exceed $25, 910. 00.
It is further agreed that the Gas Company will bill the City for
their actual construction costs with the above amount to be a not
to exceed figure.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS THE 6TH DAY OF JUNE, 1989.
