RESOLUTION APPROVING CONTRACT BETWEEN
BURLINGTON NORTHERN RAILROAD COMPANY AND THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS FOR THE PURPOSES OF
RECONSTRUCTING THE SEVENTH STREET RAILROAD
CROSSING AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
SIGN THE CONTRACT.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has requested that the
Burlington Northern Railroad Company reconstruct the Seventh
Street Railroad Crossing; and
WHEREAS,the Burlington Northern Railroad Company has
agreed to reconstruct the crossing per the attached agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The attached agreement between the City of Wichita Falls and
the Burlington Northern Railroad Company is hereby approved and
the City Manager is authorized to execute same.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS THE 16TH DAY OF MAY, 1989.
