RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CITY MANAGER
TO ENTER INTO CONTRACT WITH KUSTOM
ELECTRONICS FOR LEASE/PURCHASE OF
POLICE RADAR EQUIPMENT
WHEREAS, the Police Department is in need of replacing
some of it present radar units which are aged and
unreliable, and
WHEREAS, electronic monitoring of vehicular traffic
provides a safer environment for the citizens of the
community, and
WHEREAS, Kustom Electronics has provided the lowest
responsible proposal for the provision of radar units,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is hereby authorized to contract with
Kustom Electronics for the provision of Police traffic
radars in the amount of $17, 226.72, and to sign said
contract.
