RESOLUTION TO AWARD BID FOR GRAZING LEASES AT
LAKE KICKAPOO
WHEREAS, the City has certain properties surrounding Lake
Kickapoo which historically have been leased to the highest
bidder for grazing purposes;
WHEREAS, the current lease on the north and south side of
Lake Kickapoo will expire on April 30, 1989;
WHEREAS, the City advertised for bids for new leases on the
north side and on the south side of Lake Kickapoo; and,
WHEREAS, the Council has determined the highest bidder for
the south side lease to be Leslie P. Wachsman.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Leslie P. Wachsman is hereby awarded the lease for the south
side of Lake Kickapoo, a total of 1424.39 acres at an amount of
$9.11 per acre, an annual amount of $12,976.19. The City Manager
is authorized to execute a lease with Leslie P. Wachsman for the
purposes stated.
