RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH THE UNIVERSITY KIWANIS CLUB FOR
CONCESSION SERVICES IN KlWANIS PARK AND JAYCEE PARK.
WHEREAS, a food and drink concession operation is
desired in Kiwanis Park and Jaycee Park for the 1989
baseball season; and,
WHEREAS, the University Kiwanis Club has volunteered to
staff and operate the concession buildings and turn over all
profit to the City; and,
WHEREAS, it is desirable to encourage volunteer efforts
for park improvement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS THAT:
The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a
contract with the University Kiwanis Club with a term
beginning April 1, 1989 and ending December 1, 1989; to
provide food and drink concession services at the baseball
complexes in Kiwanis Park and Jaycee Park.
