RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT THE RIVER ROAD
LANDFILL FENCE PROJECT AND AUTHORIZE
FINAL PAYMENT TO THE CONTRACTOR
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered a unit price
contract with Best Building Company with the estimated total cost
of $6,482.00; and,
WHEREAS, the actual work was completed at a total cost of
$7,148.44 of which $6,145.60 has been previously paid to the
contractor, leaving an amount due of $1,002.84; and,
WHEREAS, the City staff has inspected the work and found it
to be acceptable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The River Road Landfill Fence Project is hereby accepted and
the City Manager it authorized to make final payment to the
Contractor.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS THE 4TH DAY OF APRIL, 1989.
