RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT THE LANDFILL SOIL
LINER V PROJECT AND AUTHORIZE FINAL
PAYMENT TO THE CONTRACTOR
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered a unit price
contract with Beavers Construction Company with the estimated
total cost of $174,816.00; and
WHEREAS, the actual work was completed at a total cost of
$180,087.50 of which $171,083.12 has been previously paid to the
contractor, leaving an amount due of $9,004.38; and
WHEREAS, the City staff has inspected the work and found it
to be acceptable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The Landfill Soil Liner V Project is hereby accepted and the
City Manager is authorized to make a final payment to the
contractor.
