RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT WASTEWATER TREATMENT
PLANT VALVE REPAIR PROJECT AS COMPLETE AND
AUTHORIZE FINAL PAYMENT TO CONTRACTOR
WHEREAS, the City awarded a contract to M & F Litteken
Company to accomplish certain specified work at the Wastewater
Treatment Plant and the contract amount was $13,970.00;
WHEREAS, during the course of the construction work, two
change orders were approved in the total amount of $349.00,
bringing the total project cost to $14,319.00;
WHEREAS, the contractor has previously been paid an amount
of $13,889.43, leaving an amount due of $429.57; and,
WHEREAS, the work has been inspected by the City staff and
found acceptable, and the staff has recommended Council
acceptance of the project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The project to install a manhole over a defective valve at
the River Road Wastewater Treatment Plant is hereby accepted as
complete and the City Manager is authorized to make a final
payment to the contractor in the amount of $429.57.
