RESOLUTION TO APPROVE CHANGE ORDER FOR
RELOCATION OF UTILITIES FOR THE HOLLIDAY
CREEK PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has a contract with Opex,
Incorporated for the construction of a bridge structure and the
relocation of certain utility lines across Holliday Creek;
WHEREAS, the City has a responsibility to relocate an
irrigation water line at the Wichita Falls Country Club;
WHEREAS, Opex has quoted a price of $24,940.00 for the work
to relocate the water line; and,
WHEREAS, the City is due a refund of $1,967.00 from Opex for
a change for the materials in the original contract.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Change Order 1 for the relocation of an irrigation water
line at the Wichita Falls Country Club with a net cost of
$22,973.00 is hereby approved, increasing the original contract
price of $237,950.00 to a new contract price of $260,923.00. The
City Manager is authorized to execute the change order.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS THE 7TH DAY OF FEBRUARY, 1989.
