Res 021-89 2/7/1989RESOLUTION NO.� RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT PROJECT TO RELOCATE UTILITIES ACROSS HOLLIDAY CREEK AND TO AUTHORIZE A FINAL PAYMENT TO THE CONTRACTOR WHEREAS, the City has a contract with Rhode Pipe Company for the relocation of certain utilities across Holliday Creek; WHEREAS, the original contract for $180,990.25 was increased by two approved change orders to $190,076.50; WHEREAS, the amount of work actually accomplished is $194,014.75; WHEREAS, the City has previously paid the contractor an amount of $147,572.22, leaving an amount due of $46,442.53; and, WHEREAS, the staff has inspected the work, found it acceptable and recommended acceptance of the project. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT: The project to relocate utility lines across Holliday Creek at East Scott and Jacksboro Highway is hereby accepted and the City Manager is authorized to make a final payment of $46,442.53 to the contractor.
