RESOLUTION CALLING REGULAR CITY ELECTION FOR
MAY 6, 1989, AND NAMING POLLING PLACES.
WHEREAS, Mayor Perry Goolsby has issued an order this date
ordering an election to be held on May 6, 1989, for electing the
Councilor at large, Councilor for District 1 and Councilor for
District 2.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
An election shall be held in the City on May 6, 1989, for
the purpose of electing such City officers. Such election shall
be held at the polling places named in Exhibit A, attached
hereto. The election judges shall be named at a later date.
Voters residing in the City limits of Wichita Falls within the
county precinct numbers shown on Exhibit A shall vote in the City
polling places shown in such Exhibit A.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 7th day of February, 1989.
