RESOLUTION DECLARING CERTAIN PARCELS OF REAL
PROPERTY AS EXCESS AND DIRECTING THE LAND TO
BE ADVERTISED FOR SALE BY SEALED BIDS.
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to reduce the amount of
real property owned by the City of Wichita Falls when such
property is no longer required for public use; and,
WHEREAS, fourteen parcels of land have been identified as
excess, and it is in the public interest to return these parcels
to private ownership.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The following described real property located in Wichita
Falls, Wichita County, Texas, is declared as excess, and the City
Manager is directed to advertise for sealed bids for the sale of
such property:
1. 1408 -1430 Midwestern Parkway
The remainder of Lots 19 through 30, Block 21,
Hillcrest Addition, less a fifteen foot wide
strip off of the south side to be reserved
for future highway right -of -way.
2. 2300 Shepherd
Remainder of Lot 1, Block 3, W. E. Wilson
Addition.
3. 2215 Shepherd
Lot 14 -A, Block 2, W. E. Wilson Addition.
4. 1528, 1530, 1532 Kell (formerly 1522 -1526 Smarsh)
