RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
INTO CONTRACT WITH XEROX CORPORATION FOR
LEASE AND MAINTENANCE OF COPIERS.
WHEREAS, the City has advertised for competitive sealed
proposals for lease and maintenance of two copiers in the City's
print shop and one copier in the Records Unit of the police
department; the competitive sealed proposal procedure was used as
this is for high technology procurements; and,
WHEREAS, sealed proposals were received from seven vendors,
and it is found that the proposal from Xerox Corporation is the
most advantageous to the City considering the relative importance
of price and the other evaluation factors included in the request
for proposals.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Such proposal of Xerox Corporation is hereby accepted, and
the City Manager is authorized to enter into a contract with
Xerox Corporation for lease and maintenance of such three
copiers.
