RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT PROJECT TO REPLACE
SANITARY SEWER LIFT STATION AND AUTHORIZE
CITY MANAGER TO MAKE FINAL PAYMENT
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has a contract with Opex,
Incorporated for the replacement of a lift station near the
entrance of Sheppard Air Force Base;
WHEREAS, the contract was for $26,577.00 and we have
previously paid the contractor an amount of $11,091.78, leaving
an amount due of $15,485.22; and,
WHEREAS, the staff has inspected the project and found it to
be satisfactory.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The project to replace Lift Station #22 in the vicinity of
the entrance of Sheppard Air Force Base is hereby accepted and
the City Manager is authorized to make a final payment of
$15,485.22 to the contractor.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS THE 3RD DAY OF JANUARY, 1989.
