Ord 039-84 4/3/1984 ORDINANCE NO. AMENDING SECTION 30-2(C) (4) OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES FOR THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS TO CHANGE THE WRITTEN CONSENT PRO- VISION TO A NOTIFICATION PROCEDURE FOR THE PLACEMENT OF MOBILE HOMES OUTSIDE OF MOBILE HOME PARKS WHEREAS, the Planning Board has recommended that a notification procedure replace the present written consent requirement; and, WHEREAS, the City Council deems it advisable and in the public interest to amend this section to conform with other notification procedures. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT: SEC. 30-2(C) (4) of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Wichita Falls is amended to read as follows: "(4) All property owners of property within three hundred (300) feet of the proposed mobile home site shall be notified in writing by the Planning Department of the intent to locate and the intended location of a mobile home upon receiving a fee of fifty (50) dollars from the applicant. Such notice shall be served by depositing the same, properly addressed and postage paid, in a post office or postal depository within the boundaries of Wichita Falls. Property owners who wish to protest the location of the mobile home within three hundred (300) feet of their property must reply in writing to the Planning Department within ten (10) days of the date of notification. If the owners of twenty percent (20%) or more of the property within the three hundred (300) feet radius express disapproval within the ten (10) day period, the applicant must secure at least sixty-six and two-thirds (66 2/3) percent of the signatures of all property owners within three hundred (300) feet of the intended mobile home site." h � PASSED AND APPROVED THIS THE,h 4' day of 9,24-4.--/ , 1984.
