AN ORDINANCE CLOSING, VACATING, AND ABANDONING CERTAIN UTILITY
EASEMENTS IN LOT 2, BLOCK 18, MIDWESTERN PARK SUBDIVISION,
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS
WHEREAS, the Planning Board has recommended that certain utility easements
in Lot 2, Block 18, Midwestern Park Subdivision; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas deems it
advisable and in the public interest to close, vacate, and abandon the utility ease-
ments hereafter described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Certain utility easements in Lot 2, Block 18, Midwestern Park
Subdivision, Wichita Falls, Texas, being more specifically described as follows:

EASEMENT NO. 1
A tract of land out of Lot 2, Block 18, Midwestern Park, an
addition to the City of Wichita Falls, Wichita County. Texas,
and being more specifically described by metes and bounds as
follows:
Beginning at a 1/2" Iron rod at the southeast corner of
said Lot 2, Block 18, said 1/2" iron rod also lies in the north
. right-of-way line of Southwest Parkway and is the place of
beginning of this description;
Thence along said north right-of-way line of Southwest
Parkway, North 89° 33' West 10.00 feet to a point for corner;
Thence North 00° 27' East 590.00 feet to a point for
corner;
Thence North 89° 33' West 256.00 feet to a point for
corner;
Thence North 00° 27' East 10.00 feet to a point for
corner which lies in the north boundary line of said Lot 2,
Block 18;
Thence along said north boundary line. South 89° 33' East
266.00 feet to a 1/2" Iron rod for corner . said 1/2" iron rod
also being the northeast corner of said Lot 2, Block 18;
Thence along the east boundary line of said Lot 2, Block
18, South 00° 27' West 600.00 feet to the place of beiginning
and containing 0.196 acres, more or less.

Thence along said West boundary line of Lot 2, Block 18,

containing 0.125 acres. more or less.
be and the same are hereby closed, vacated, and abandoned.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall become effective upon the filing-with
the Wichita County Clerk, a final plat of the proposed shopping center on this lot
and its adjacent property.
