ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING FEE FOR PICK UP AND DISPOSAL
OF DEAD ANIMALS , AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 2738 .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1 . There is hereby established a fee of $31 . 25 for
the pick up and disposal of each dead large animal within the
City. This fee shall be paid by the owner of such animal, and
shall be paid either directly to the City, or to the City' s
contractor for remittance to the City. The term "large animals"
shall include horses, mules, donkeys, cattle, sheep , goats, hogs ,
and other animals of like or larger size.
SECTION 2 . There is hereby established a fee of $5 . 00 per
trip, to be charged to anyone for whom small dead animals , including
dogs and cats, are picked up by City Animal Control Wardens within
the City; such fee shall be $5 . 00 per trip regardless of the number
of small dead animals picked up.
SECTION 3 . Ordinance No. 2738 is hereby repealed .
