ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING REGULATIONS FOR SCOTLAND
PARK OVERNIGHT RECREATIONAL VEHICLE PARK.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1 . Those certain regulations which are shown on
Exhibit A, which is attached hereto, are hereby established as
regulations governing the use of the Scotland Park Overnight
Recreational Vehicle Park.
SECTION 2 . Anyone convicted of violating any of such regula-
tions shall be punished by a fine not exceeding $200, and each
day any violation of such regulations shall continue shall constitute
a separate offense.

Scotland Park Overnight Recreational Vehicle Park
R.V. Park User Fee: $4 . 00 per site Check-Out: 2: 00 p.m.
Record R.V. and/or tow vehicle license number on envelope provided and
deposit, with fee, in designated box.
Usage Limit:
By order of the Wichita Falls-Wichita County Health Unit, this overnight
park may be used only by recreational vehicles which have water and sewage-
holding capabilities due the lack of public restrooms.
Usage Regulations:
Vehicles must be parked only in designated spaces.
Vehicles may not be left unattended for more than 24 hours.
Maximum park usage is 72 hours per two-week period.
Campsites accommodate one family or party unit of not more than eight (8)
persons.
Persons under 18 years of age may stay overnight only if they are accom-
panied by a parent or legal guardian or with his/her written permission.
Sanitation and Refuse:
All garbage, papers, cans , bottles, and rubbish must be disposed of in
containers provided for the disposal thereof, or removed from the area.
The drainage of gray water from any vehicle is prohibited.
The disposal of any body waste in or on any portion of the R.V. Park, other
than in the sanitary dump station provided for that purpose, is strictly
prohibited.
Peace and Quiet:
In order to maintain peace and quiet for the enjoyment of the campers, the
following activities are prohibited between the hours of 10 : 00 p.m. and
6 : 00 a.m. daily:
-Excessive noise from entertainment equipment which would disturb persons
of ordinary sensibilities.
-Vehicle traffic, except for emergency purposes only.
-Persons conducting themselves in such a manner as to disturb campers
who are sleeping.
General:
The following general regulations shall be enforced for the R.V. Park:
-No persons shall light or build an open fire on the premises. Only
charcoal-kindled fires in grills are permitted.
-No alcoholic beverages may be consumed on the premises.
-Public nudity or disrobing is prohibited.
-Solicitation of funds, distribution of circulars, assemblies and
demonstrations , and the sale of items is prohibited unless permission
is given by the Director of Parks and Recreation.
-Loaded firearms are prohibited.
-All pets must be on a leash or confined.
