AN ORDINANCE CLOSING, VACATING, AND ABANDONING A PORTION OF
A UTILITY EASEMENT IN LOT 6, BLOCK 2, MOLLER ADDITION, WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS
WHEREAS, the Planning Board has recommended that the portion of a utility
easement which is encroached by a swimming pool in Lot 6, Block 2, Moller Addition
be closed; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas deems it
advisable and in the public interest to close, vacate, and abandon the portion of
the utility easement hereafter described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The portion of a seven and one-half (71/2) foot east-west utility easement
lying abutting and parallel to the south lot line of Lot 6, Block 2, Moller Addition,
being more specifically described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point on the north boundary of said easement, said
point being located thirteen (13) feet more-or-less west of the east
property line of said lot;
THENCE thirty-two (32) feet west along the north boundary of said
easement to a point for corner;
THENCE two and eight-tenths (2.8) feet south, to a point for corner;
THENCE thirty-two (32) feet east to a point for corner;
THENCE two and eight-tenths (2.8) feet north to the place of beginning;
be and is hereby closed, vacated, and abandoned.
