AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 9P(6) (a) OF APPENDIX A, CODE OF
ORDINANCES (COMPREHENSIVE SUBDIVISION ORDINANCE NO. 2118) TO
ALLOW FOR TWO (2) STORIED ZERO LOT LINE STRUCTURES WITH TEN
(10) FOOT SIDE SETBACK
WHEREAS, the Planning Board of the City of Wichita Falls has recommended
that the minimum width of a side setback requirement be amended to allow for two-
storied zero lot line residential structures with ten (10) foot side setback; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Wichita Falls deems it advisable
and in the public interest to amend the said minimum side setback hereafter described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Section 9P(6) (a) of Appendix A, Code of Ordinances (Comprehensive Subdivi-
sion Ordinance No. 2118) is hereby amended to read as follows:
"(a) The minimum width of the side setback shall be ten (10) feet
except where the height of the structure exceeds two (2) stories,
in which case the minimum side setback shall be increased to the
height of the structure. The same side setback requirements on
the main building shall be observed by detached accessory buildings."
